Our Commitments

Reconciliation Action Plan

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and design. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise the enduring connection to Country, culture and community.

Wilson Architects is proud to have an officially endorsed Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) through Reconciliation Australia. Our RAP sets out meaningful commitments to strengthen relationships, deepen cultural understanding and create opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across our practice.

Reconciliation is an ongoing process. Through this plan, we commit to learning, listening and embedding respect for First Nations cultures and knowledge into the way we operate, collaborate and design.

Sustainability Action Plan

In 2020 our practice made a commitment to the Australian Architects Declare Climate & Biodiversity Emergency. This pledge is part of the industry wide commitment towards strengthening our work practices, to reduce impact on the world around us.

Wilson Architects have always had a strong commitment to designing for resilience and prioritising the relationship between Architecture and the Landscape. We care about the impact that our projects generate and recognise the urgency of climate change and its effect on the environment, economic, social and cultural syszhich we work.

We commit to a growth mindset, seeking new opportunities to learn, identify emerging research and technologies and foster relationships with collaborators who share these values.   By publishing our Sustainability Action Plan (SAP), we commit to being part of an Industry shift in culture around sharing, transparency and accountability.
