EnTRI
Brisbane, Meanjin, Queensland
The Translational Manufacturing facility at the Translational Research Institute (TM@TRI) represents the next evolution in Australia’s biomedical research capability, a national first in scale-up biomanufacturing for emerging biotech companies.
Designed by Wilson Architects, the facility provides specialised environments for medical start-ups to advance from discovery to clinical production, supporting Phase II and III clinical trials within a collaborative research ecosystem.
EnTRI includes GMP cleanrooms, PC2 laboratories, and innovation spaces that encourage cross-disciplinary engagement between scientists, engineers, and clinicians. Complemented by co-working areas, meeting and pitch spaces, and shared amenities, the design fosters a vibrant community of translational research and enterprise.
Responding to a growing global demand for locally produced medical technologies, EnTRI will position Queensland as a leader in precision medicine and advanced biomanufacturing, accelerating the journey from idea to impact. The facility has been designed to 5 star Green Building Council of Australia and 5.5 start NABERS rating.
