Griffith University Business School

Griffith University Southport Campus, Gold Coast

Wilson Architects’ vision for the Griffith Business School present a way forward for the University to capture the imagination of the next generation of business students and the local business community through rebranding the University’s business faculty in a way that will inspire future business leaders, and reflect the strong pedagogical links between the University and the future directions of the business industry.

  • Griffith Business School is a new building that brings together their various departments and centres into an integrated, collaborative teaching, learning and research environment. Our proposal seeks to explore the possibilities of revealing the interactive experience of the spaces held within by providing an open, inviting, transparent and engaging building. Multiple departments and centres are planned to be collocated within this new building: a centre where ideas are exchanged, new collaborations established and a place created that fosters a sense of collegiate and industry partnership with the wider professional business community.

“We wanted a building that was open, light, engaging and inviting and that would also make a connection to the life around us, I’m really delighted with this fantastic building and from the brief provided to Wilson Architects I feel it has delivered well beyond expectations.”

    — Professor Michael Powell, Pro Vice Chancellor (Business).
