What our clients say about us...

The feedback we consistently receive from our clients is that we are really good listeners and collaborators.

When we collaborate, extraordinary things happen.

We believe that the best designs are where we authentically listen and communicate designed outcomes. What is the definition of a good listener? A good listener is someone who can participate, interpret and understand, who can put up proposals, collaborate and coordinate.

  • We are exceptional at understanding the clients brief and working with them and are regarded for authentically listening, understanding and collaborating with our clients.

  • All staff are exposed to the ideas and thinking behind schemes to thoroughly understand the process.

  • We believe best practice outcomes are a result of collaboration in design. Effective client relationships are a result of strong client engagement, communication, negotiation and strength of leadership.

Wilson Architects believe that it is critical that client groups, consultants, contractors thoroughly understand the project scheme. Because we design and document in three dimensions using sophisticated CAD software we can produce information which helps everybody understand the design.

Staff use live BIM models throughout the design and documentation phases.

Managing the end users for a building is often a challenging job. Wilson Architects enabled them to ‘experience’ the building through their BIMX self navigable technology which rapidly sped up the approval process. By the time they moved in to the building there were very few of the usual unexpected ‘surprises’.
— Sherron Fielden, Project Manager/Architect James Cook University

Architecture is about the construction of ideas.

The practice provides an integrated service encompassing architectural, interior design, landscape and environmental sustainable design solutions, focused on understanding and satisfying our client’s requirements, needs and expectations, to create spaces that will be readily adaptable to constant variance in research programming.

Ideas are tested against our design values and are reviewed throughout the design process.

Teaching and learning at the College has been stripped of the shackles that bind it to the traditional modes of teaching, now the sky is the limit and you are only regulated by one’s ability to imagine.’
— Natasha Podoliak - Brisbane Boys’ College, Director of Middle School Student Development
Wilson Architects worked exceptionally well with library staff in helping them understand the changes occurring. They understood concerns and addressed them and encouraged staff to try new approaches. Many innovative work practices and procedures resulted. The design work was part of a whole change process.

We have exceptional documentation skills

We understand that clear, thorough documentation is essential to the smooth running of a project.

We are well known for our methodical approach that minimises variations and saves our clients time and money throughout the building process.

We compliment our design expertise with a high level of attention to detail, and document management that supports every project from the beginning.

We found the level of documentation provided by Wilson’s to be of very high quality and detailed design coordination was completed in a timely manner and was robust.
— Jo Campbell, Head of Design and Project Management, Lend Lease
We’re going to do something that nobody else is doing in the world, because we have these facilities.
…To be able to move from one end of the building to the other without taking your lab coat off was critical to this building working properly.
