Designing exceptional places for people is about understanding how people experience spaces. We don't just make the building work functionally, we consider how the occupants of the home will feel when they're in
Our designs go beyond the standard benchmarks that create a single experience for a single type of person. We build in layers of experience that work at different levels for a range of people. We spend time understanding how each space can elicit an emotional response, and use devices to create a space that shapes the experience of the people who use it.
Sunrise Beach House
This is a house of quietly relaxed luxury which provides a sequence of ocean vignettes, playfully screened and framed against the house and landscape.
Sunshine Beach House
The key to the Sunshine Beach House design (originally designed by renowned architect Gabriel Poole in 1997) remains the central outdoor room, now covered with a translucent battened roof, linking the living spaces during all but the most inclement weather.
Doggett St House
The Doggett St Residence and Office converted an existing 1970s concrete block, flat-roofed warehouse into a place where a family of four can live and work.
