Sisters of Mercy Convent - Masterplan

Mercy Heritage Centre, Brisbane QLD

Mercy Heritage Centre is located in the grounds of All Hallows’ secondary School, with some buildings dating back to 1858. The proposed redevelopment will connect the public to the complexity and richness of the heritage sites. The aim for the Mercy Heritage Centre is to transform the current static museum, with very limited visitation, into a centre of creativity and community.

The Sisters of Mercy Convent within the grounds of the All Hallows' School is possibly one of the most significant heritage sites in Brisbane. The Rejuvenation Project is an opportunity to re-examine the site, while respecting and honouring the legacy of the past in order to plan for a place that celebrates and encourages the human spirit.
